Templeton Beef

Initially starting out in the Dairy industry, the Templeton business pivoted into the beef cattle industry. An opportunity was identified to put cattle in rotation with ginger production to graze the land and feed on pasture used to improve soil health.

With just shy of 1500 head spread between farms in the Sunshine Coast and Mary Valley area the cattle enterprise is continuing to expand and flourish. Templeton Ginger breed Brahmans, Charolais, Droughtmasters, and Santa Gertrudis cattle.

Our cattle team has continued to develop the grazing program which has been recognised in their recent accolades. Recently the Templeton Cattle Team won the Best Pen of Charolais or Charolais infused steers and weaners, Best Pen of Droughtmaster or Droughtmaster infused weaners and Champion Pen of Weaners at the Burnett Livestock Sales in Biggenden, QLD.
